UPDATE:I ordered another one of these suits because it was on sale for around $30 and I wanted to snatch it up because I loved it so much. They no longer had the previous size I ordered (40C) so I ordered a slightly different size this time (38C). They sent me a 38D instead of a 38C, but it actually fit well so I kept it. One thing I noticed is this new size 38D fits exactly like the previous size I bought 40C, except that the torso is slightly shorter. I investigated the size chart on the actual cocoreef website, and it turns out the size chart on their official website is slightly different than the pictured size chart on Amazon. It has different numbers for the bust. And the website chart lists torso length as an added bonus, if that's something you want to look into. To be honest, I was very confused by their size chart to begin with, so this may be a bathing suit you want to order multiple sizes and see what fits. I am usually a bra 40C, and size 12 dresses and pants... The 40C bathing suit fit well even though the tags say it is a size 16 and I am a 12. The 38D bathing suit fit the exact same but with a slightly shorter torso, which is reflected in the size chart on the cocoreef website.Overall, I would recommend using your bra size as a starting point when ordering, but get a size based on the measuments for bust, underbust, and torso. I would even get the sister size down if you want extra compression. The compression on this is medium to low. The bra is not built in molded cups.. it is just a shelf type bra with removable cups, so you can get a different bra size than your own and have it still fit.ORIGINAL REVIEW:This is one of my favorite bathing suits! It provides good compression and modest cover up, while still being super cute and flattering. I chose my size based on the size chart bust, waist, and hip measurments and it fits great, maybe slightly large. I could size down if I wanted. It does NOT match my regular numerical size of 12, but it DOES match my bra size of 40C.
