When purchasing a new truck, I forgot to include Bed Lights and the dealer indicated it would be very expensive to perform the factory install. A fellow in the Parts Department recommended the Recon Rail lights. When I ordered them, I thought I was getting the medium intensity LED lights, but when the arrived, they were the lower intensity. Placed them in my 5 1/2' bed truck and had the dealer complete the wiring to the 3rd tail light. He also installed a switch in the tail gate. I am extremely impressed. There appears to be two levels of lighting and both are excellent. I'm glad I didn't get the brighter lights. I would recommend the dealer do the wiring, as I didn't have an electrical diagram and the dealer definitely knew what he was doing. Hooking into the 3rd taillight, the lights will shut down in the event I forget to turn them off. I am very pleased at this point.
