Was used to using mediocre knives. First day i brought these home I sliced the tip of my finger off cutting leeks, didn't even feel it. went on cooking and trying to figure out where the spots of red were coming from, I used white wine not red.... Floor looked like a crime scene. Exceptionally sharp out the box, and they're German Steel forged, they last forever
